The Aether Addon Enhanced Extinguishing mod brings a fresh twist to torches and lanterns placement within the Aether dimension. Instead of the typical restriction on their placement, this addon transforms torches and lanterns into extinguished versions upon being placed: the Extinguished Torch and Extinguished Lantern, respectively.
These extinguished blocks closely resemble their lit counterparts, except with their flames extinguished and emitting no light. This alteration aligns the placement of these blocks with the behavior of other Aether blocks like Campfires and Candles, which transition to an unlit state. Moreover, breaking the Extinguished Torch and Extinguished Lantern will revert them back to their lit forms, akin to how Candles function.
