Alex’s Caves is a Forge mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 that introduces 5 unique cave biomes to the Overworld. These rare biomes include the Magnetic Caves, the Primordial Caves, the Toxic Caves, the Abyssal Chasm, and the Forlorn Hollows. Each biome offers a diverse range of blocks, items, mobs, and mechanics, creating captivating underground experiences.
To discover these cave biomes, seek out an Underground Cabin located anywhere in the overworld. There, you’ll uncover loot barrels containing cave tablets and a Cave Compendium, a comprehensive guide to Alex’s Caves. This guide equips you with all the information required to locate and explore all the mod’s biomes. Alex’s Caves is an expansive mod meticulously crafted to enhance the visual and immersive qualities of each new biome. Each biome may feature unique ambient particles, fog effects, brightness levels, light colors, and more. It is advisable to experience this mod without shaders, as certain shaders may distort or diminish the distinct appearance of various biomes. The mod seamlessly integrates with Just Enough Items and Alex’s Mobs.
