This mod, a part of The Vanilla Experience, introduces a new way for players to create named areas within their world effortlessly. By using placed signs, players can define specific regions, towns, kingdoms, and more, with just a few simple steps.

Upon placing a sign, players can specify the radius of the area, optionally include an RGB value for customization, and assign a unique name. This designation transforms the area around the sign into a designated zone. When a player enters this area, they receive a customizable message at the top of the GUI, such as “Enter the area,” and a corresponding message like “Leaving the area” upon exit.

Names for areas are randomly generated if not provided on the sign. The mod allows for the customization of the global RGB value for messages, but players can also set unique values on individual signs for added personalization.

Areas can overlap, enabling the creation of various area shapes. Join and leave messages will only display when a player enters or exits an overlapping zone for the first time.

AreasSerilum is multiplayer-compatible, although all players must have the mod installed on their client to access its features.
