About

The Boat Item View Mod is a client-side-only Minecraft Mod that enables players to view the item they are holding while traveling in a boat. This functionality is typically not available in the base game.

Features

– Toggle rendering of hand items while in a moving boat.

– Specify the types of items to display while in a moving boat.

– Compatible with Configured Mod for additional customization.

Installation

This mod is for client-side use only and should not be installed on dedicated servers.

Dependencies: Configured Mod (Optional, provides a Config GUI)

Usage

Enabling the Mod:

1. Access the Configuration File located in minecraft/config/boatiview/client.toml or via Mods -> Boat Item View -> Config Button when using Configured Mod.

2. Set “showHandsInMovingBoat” to True.

3. Hold the desired item in either the main hand or offhand.

Adding an Item to Display:

1. Open the Configuration File as mentioned above.

2. Add a new entry to “itemsToShowInMovingBoat” with the namespaced ID of the item (e.g., “minecraft:carrot”).

3. Save changes in the File Editor or Configured Mod’s GUI.

Terms of Use

– Free for personal and non-commercial public use with proper attribution and linking back to the source.

– Commercial redistribution in modpacks requires permission from the owner.

– Use in modpacks is allowed with credit to the author; no reuploading on other platforms.
