Welcome to Butcher’s Delightonuadan, a unique mod that brings a touch of realism to animal meat processing in Minecraft. This mod aims to stay true to the Minecraft style while adding more functionality to certain animals that have been underutilized.
With Butcher’s Delightonuadan, you can expect a range of features and mechanics to enhance your gameplay experience. Currently, the mod offers three main processes for each animal:
1. Meat Hook: This high-efficiency tool can be placed at the bottom of any solid block. It is used to hang animal carcasses in order to cut them into smaller parts. Click a cleaver secondary until you complete the process level (10 clicks). Accepted animals include Cow, Sheep, Goat, Pig, Hogilin, and llama.
2. Roaster: Place this tool on any campfire to cook animal carcasses completely. Accepted animals for roasting are cow, sheep, goat, pig (chicken and rabbit planned). Once cooked, simply right-click with your hand to enjoy the cooked meat.
3. Flat Surface Processing: Any carcass can be placed on a solid surface and cut using a cleaver (any item with a Knife tag). Chickens can be plucked with shears for more feathers, and using shears on a strider results in obtaining strings.
Additionally, you can process by-products such as skin or fur into a rack and shears to obtain more items. Further plans for the mod include integrated compatibility with other mods, fortune drops, and a Fabric Port.
