About the Mod:
Originally focused on introducing different tiers of chests, Compact Storage has evolved into an upgrade-based storage system. Start with a 9×6 inventory size for Barrels, Chests, and Backpacks, which can be expanded up to 24×12 using Storage Upgrades. Drum Storage items are capable of holding 64 stacks of a single item type, featuring retainer upgrades for item preservation. Upgrade your backpack by placing the upgrade item in your offhand and clicking the backpack for increased storage capacity.
Storage Options:
- Chest: Upgradable to a max size of 24×12 by right-clicking with upgrade items
- Barrel: Expandable to 24×12 similar to a vanilla barrel
- Backpack: Portable storage, upgraded by placing item in offhand and right-clicking
- Drum: Unique world-based storage, holds up to 64 stacks of one item type
Upgrade Options:
- Width Upgrade: Expands the width of chests, backpacks, and barrels
- Height Upgrade: Increases the height of storage options
- Retaining Upgrade: Prevents item loss when broken
