Minecraft Mod: DEUF – Duplicate Entity UUID FixCAS_ual_TY
If you’ve encountered the message “Keeping entity minecraft:xxxx that already exists with UUID xxxx” frequently in your Minecraft world due to using an old world, then the DEUF mod is here to help. This mod addresses the issue of duplicate UUIDs and reduces the spam in your logs and server console.
To install the mod, simply drag and drop the file into your mods folder. Clients do not need to install the mod to join your server, making it convenient for multiplayer gameplay.
Once installed, explore your world and notice an initial increase in spam messages as the UUIDs are fixed. However, after reloading the world or restarting the server, the issue should no longer occur for that specific entity with a non-duplicate UUID.
While the mod has undergone positive and bug-free short tests, it’s recommended to back up your world before usage.
