Minecraft Mod: Do a Barrel Rollenjarai

Do a Barrel Rollenjarai is an exciting and lightweight clientside mod for Minecraft that enhances the elytra flight experience to be more enjoyable and semi-realistic. By introducing a completely unlocked camera orientation, players can now have full control over pitch, yaw, and roll during flight.

Various modifications, both subtle and more noticeable, are incorporated into the mod to enhance the camera experience, including smoothing and banking effects.

Controls:

  • Mouse x-axis: Roll
  • Mouse y-axis: Pitch
  • Strafe keys (usually A and D): Yaw

Configuration:

The mod offers extensive in-game customization options using ModMenu and YACL. Players can adjust settings such as mouse behavior, elytra activation restrictions, and modify values for banking, sensitivity, and more by accessing the configuration screen through the mods list.

Server-side Features:

Visual elements of the mod, such as player model rolls, can be synchronized across clients by also installing the mod on the server-side. This ensures compatibility with vanilla clients and servers, allowing for various visual synchronization scenarios depending on the server and client configurations.

Disclaimers:

While this mod does not alter the game’s flight physics directly, certain actions like performing loop de loops may trigger anticheat measures due to rapid camera movements. Users are advised to use the mod cautiously and understand the associated risks.

Credits:

Do a Barrel Rollenjarai is based on the Cool Elytra Roll mod by Jorbon, specifically its “realistic mode.” The mod was initially ported to Forge by MehVahdJukaar and features a modern Forge port inspired by Sinytra’s multiloader template. The mod icon was designed by Mizeno.
