Entity Culling Fabric/Forgetr7zw Minecraft Mod

EntityCulling is a mod for Minecraft that utilizes async path-tracing to skip rendering Block/Entities that are not visible to the player. Why should Minecraft render objects that are obstructed by walls and not visible to you? This mod makes use of your CPU cores/threads to quickly determine if blocks/entities are visible or not, similar to how entities behind you are skipped.

Note regarding compatibility with Sodium/Optifine:

This mod has been tested with Optifine (Optifabric), Iris, and Sodium, resulting in fps improvements, even with Sodium’s “Use Entity Culling” enabled by default. The difference lies in the mod’s more aggressive approach to skip rendering non-visible entities.

FAQ:
– Does this mod need to be installed on the server? No, it’s fully client-side and cannot be installed on servers.
– Will this affect farms/mobs? No, as the mod only skips rendering and does not interfere with mobs or gameplay.
