Fairy Lights is a captivating mod for Minecraft that introduces decorative hanging lights with a wide array of customization options. Each light can be crafted in six different variants, each available in one of the sixteen dye colors.

To craft hanging lights, you must first create the base lights. There are various options such as fairy light, heart light, moon light, star light, and more. By combining iron ingots, strings or sticks, and a selection of lights in a horizontal pattern, you can create unique hanging light designs. Incorporating glowstone will make the lights twinkle, while using string creates a slack connection and sticks result in a straight connection. The hanging lights item can display up to four light colors, and you can craft up to eight lights by combining a hanging lights item with eight lights in a crafting table.

Furthermore, users can place the hanging lights on the side of a block or an existing fastener to establish a connection. By right-clicking on another side of a block or fastener, the connection is completed. The maximum length of a fairy light strand is 32 blocks. The slack of hanging lights can be adjusted using string or sticks, and the lights can be turned on and off by right-clicking them.

This mod offers integration with JEI for displaying recipes, making it easier for players to engage with the content seamlessly.
