minecraft Mod: FastWorkbenchShadows_of_Fire
This mod is designed to enhance the performance of crafting-related functions in Minecraft. It addresses the issue present in Minecraft 1.12 where crafting a stack of items with shift-click could lead to temporary freezes. In addition to fixing this bug, FastWorkbench offers additional optimizations.
Crafting:
FastWorkbench optimizes crafting operations by caching the last recipe used. It minimizes calls to the cached recipe by detecting changes only when the item in the crafting matrix changes, resulting in significant reduction in matching operations.
Recipe Book:
In Minecraft 1.12, FastWorkbench removed the recipe book, improving login times by eliminating the need to sync recipes on login for the client. In versions 1.13 and higher, recipe syncing is part of the new system. FastWorkbench visually removes the recipe book button by default but can be reconfigured.
Compatibility and Mod Support:
The mod is implemented through Mixin to enhance PlayerContainer and WorkbenchContainer classes. Mods using WorkbenchContainer will benefit from FastWorkbench optimizations. Mods not using WorkbenchContainer should already have similar optimizations.
