First Join Message is a customizable mod that sends a special message to players when they join a world for the first time. This feature can be used to create a more immersive initial experience or to provide essential information, such as server rules or mini-game guidelines. Additionally, it offers an option to broadcast a message server-wide whenever a new player joins.
Configuration Options:
- firstJoinMessage (default = “You wake up in an unfamiliar place.”): Customize the message players receive upon their first entry into the world. Leave empty to disable.
- firstJoinMessageTextFormattingColourIndex (default = 2, min 0, max 15): Choose the color of the message using predefined values.
- serverBroadcastMessage (default = “”): Set a message that players will see upon their initial entry. Leave it empty to disable.
- serverBroadcastMessageTextFormattingColourIndex (default = 3, min 0, max 15): Define the color of the broadcasted message.
Color Options:
0: black, 1: dark_blue, 2: dark_green, 3: dark_aqua, 4: dark_red, 5: dark_purple, 6: gold, 7: gray, 8: dark_gray, 9: blue, 10: green, 11: aqua, 12: red, 13: light_purple, 14: yellow, 15: white.
