FTB XMod CompatFTB

Minecraft Mod: FTB XMod CompatFTB

This mod, FTB XMod CompatFTB, is designed solely for providing seamless integration between FTB and various non-FTB mods in Minecraft. It does not have standalone functions but enhances mod interactions based on the presence of other mods.

All mod dependencies, whether FTB or non-FTB, are considered soft dependencies. Therefore, FTB XMod CompatFTB will initiate even without any other mods, but it won’t offer any significant utilities on its own.

FTB Quests Integration

When FTB Quests is installed, the following integrations are enabled:

• Interaction with KubeJS events triggered by FTB Quests events
• Utilization of KubeJS for game stages implementation within FTB Quests

Game Stages Compatibility

In the absence of KubeJS but the presence of Game Stages:

• FTB Quests uses Game Stages for its game stages tracking
• Event response by FTB Quests to updates in Game Stages (e.g., stages adding/removing/editing)

REI / JEI Integration

When REI or JEI is active alongside FTB Quests:

• Integration of REI or JEI to display item task recipes and rewards
• Utilization of REI or JEI for showing loot crate rewards and item recipes

Fallback Mechanics

If neither KubeJS nor Game Stages is found, FTB Quests falls back to an internal stages system based on string “tags” assigned to players. This fallback, though functional, has limited features, operating on a binary tag assignment basis.
