Minecraft Mod: Geophilic – Vanilla Biome Overhauls

Geophilic is a unique data pack that enhances the natural beauty of vanilla Overworld biomes in Minecraft. Inspired by the Wild Update concept art, this mod subtly tweaks biome features without introducing new blocks or items.

Main changes focus on adjusting the rarity and density of elements like grass, ferns, and flowers. Additionally, new features such as rocks, fallen trees, moss, tree stumps, and bushes are integrated, along with occasional new tree variants. Most trees remain true to their vanilla forms, albeit with the height tweaked for better navigation.

Geophilic doesn’t aim to completely transform the terrain but rather updates vanilla biomes in a simple and harmonious manner, aligning them with modern standards while preserving their essence.

Content Updates:

1.0.0: Initial release featuring enhancements to various biomes including Taiga, Desert, and Forest.

1.1.0: Added Dark Forest, Badlands, Savanna, and more.

1.2.0: Expanded to include Plains biome.

2.0.0: Latest version includes a wide range of biome improvements such as Snowy Slopes, Stony Shore, and Wooded Badlands.

Note:

Geophilic modifies vanilla biome files and introduces configured features that are compatible with other mods. This server-side mod is a work in progress, with potential changes and updates. Users are advised to make backups due to ongoing development.

Attention:

Geophilic is not impacted by recent malware concerns on CurseForge. For more information, refer to the official updates. Explore the gallery for visual representations of the mod’s enhancements.
