Hostile Neural Networks revolves around the concept of training data models and conducting simulations to predict mob behaviors and generate valuable loot drops. At the core of the mod lies the Data Model – an essential item that captures critical information about entities, enabling players to determine and obtain their loot rewards.
To obtain a Data Model, players must craft a Data Model Framework and apply it to the targeted entity to build the model. Subsequently, the model needs to be trained for optimal performance and accuracy.
Training a Data Model can be accomplished using either a Deep Learner or a Simulation Chamber. The Deep Learner allows for the storage of multiple data models and facilitates training through mob encounters, gradually improving the model’s accuracy from a Faulty state to a Basic level.
Once the model reaches Basic or higher, players can utilize the simulation chamber to run advanced simulations. These simulations provide generalized predictions, with the possibility of generating detailed Mob Predictions based on the model’s accuracy level. Higher-tier models, such as the Self Aware, can achieve up to 99.5% accuracy in predictions.
Running simulations requires energy and specific catalyst items like the Prediction Matrix. Upon receiving Mob Predictions, players can process them using a Loot Fabricator, a device that converts predictions into valuable mob drops based on predefined items. Players can customize their loot preferences and efficiently manage different types of predictions within a single fabricator.
For enhanced gameplay, the mod supports the addition of custom Data Models through Datapacks. Each Data Model is represented as a distinct file within the data_models subfolder, offering players the flexibility to expand and personalize their gaming experience.
