Minecraft Mod: Immersive EngineeringBluSunrize

Immersive Engineering is a tech mod teeming with a unique charm, meticulously crafted around innovative ideas and concepts, with a majority of assets masterfully designed by Damien Hazard.

At its core, this mod focuses on realism-inspired technology, offering a fresh take on traditional tech features:

– Instead of the usual glowing red tubes, immerse yourself in the world of actual, hanging powerlines.

– Say goodbye to one block magically producing dust and hello to the crusher, a massive multiblock (5x3x3) equipped with rotating wheels that elegantly breaks down ore into particles.

– Bid farewell to lasers turning power into magical light and welcome the Excavator, another impressive multiblock (3x7x8) that excavates ores from the ground with a gigantic rotating bucketwheel.

Immersive Engineering aims to enhance tech mods with balance and aesthetics by infusing a touch of retro-futurism, drawing inspiration from titles like BioShock, Order 1886, and SkyCaptain and the World of Tomorrow, instead of the generic clinical white+grey future cubes.

This mod utilizes the Forge Energy API, a familiar feature in many tech mods, and can be played as a standalone experience. Unlike its counterparts, IE opts for power transfer through cables linked between connectors instead of block lanes.

Players can revel in a variety of Power Generation options including waterwheels, windmills, biodiesel, and more, with many of its machines embodying the concept of multiblocks.

For comprehensive documentation, the mod provides the Engineer’s Manual, a crafted item combining a book and a lever.

Modpack policy encourages creativity, as long as users refrain from monetizing content that doesn’t belong to them, comply with the EULA, and respect the mod’s license. Bug reports should be submitted through the issue tracker.

In response to potential mod loader porting, Immersive Engineering firmly remains within the Forge API realm, showing no intention to venture into Fabric, Quilt, or other loaders due to time constraints and the developers’ dedication to their craft.
