Minecraft Mod: Inventory SortingKyrptonaught

Inventory Sorting is a quick, simple, and lightweight sorting mod designed for Fabric. It offers multiple ways to sort your inventory efficiently:

  • By clicking the appropriate sort button
  • Using the dedicated keybind
  • Middle-clicking an empty slot
  • Double-clicking an empty slot
  • Utilizing the /sort or /sortme command

It’s important to note that some features, such as middle-clicking and double-clicking empty slots, work server-side only with vanilla clients. Players can easily configure the mod by accessing the in-game config using Mod Menu or by manually editing the config file. For vanilla clients, the /invSort command can be used to adjust configurations.

As of version 1.8.2, players can now blacklist specific inventories in-game. By holding the left control key and pressing the sort button, users can mark inventories as:

  • Do Not Sort: Preventing the inventory from being sorted, while still allowing your own inventory to be sorted.
  • Hide Buttons: Disabling sorting for both the opened inventory and your own inventory.

If you find your inventory constantly messy, the Inventory Sorting mod offers a solution to streamline and organize your items effectively. Please note that Inventory Sorting must be installed on the server to enable sorting functionality. Without the server component, sorting on servers lacking the mod would not be possible.
