What’s Kryptontuxed?
Kryptontuxed, deriving its name from Ancient Greek _kryptos_, meaning “the hidden one,” is a Fabric mod aiming to optimize the Minecraft networking stack. It builds upon research from the Velocity and Tuinity projects.
Kryptontuxed implements various optimizations, such as:
– Highly optimized Netty handlers inspired by the Velocity proxy, extensively tested in real-world scenarios and proficiently deploying native code for efficiency.
– Flush consolidation to reduce server CPU usage, mitigate impact from speculative execution hardware vulnerabilities, and lower server tick times.
– Micro-optimizations to enhance packet serialization speeds and decrease memory usage.

Compatibility
Kryptontuxed is designed to function on any platform where Minecraft is supported, with a focus on optimization for Linux environments.
Efforts are made to ensure Kryptontuxed’s compatibility with Fabric API, Lithium, and Sodium. Additional support is extended on a best effort basis for other mods.
