Minecraft Mod: Let Me Despawnfrikinjay

When a mob in Minecraft equips or picks up an item, it becomes persistent in the world and won’t naturally despawn. This persistence of mobs contributes greatly to entity lag in the game. The mod Let Me Despawnfrikinjay tweaks the despawn check to allow mobs with picked up or equipped items to naturally despawn like any other mob. Any items picked up or equipped by the entity are dropped back on the ground upon despawning to ensure that they are not lost.

To prevent mobs from naturally despawning, you can still use name tags to name them.
