Minecraft Mod: Neruina – Ticking Entity Fixerbawnorton
This mod, Neruina, is designed to prevent ticking crashes that can potentially brick worlds in Minecraft. If an Entity, Block, or Item triggers a ticking crash, the following actions are taken:
- The problematic Entity is immediately killed, dropping any inventory it may have.
- The affected Block Entity / Tile Entity ceases ticking, although you can still access its inventory if applicable.
- The troublesome Item stops ticking in the inventory but remains functional in recipes and other uses, ensuring no data loss.
- If a crash is caused by another mod affecting the player, the player will simply be kicked instead of the game crashing.
PLEASE NOTE: Neruina is not the source of tick lag reported in Spark. Due to Neruina wrapping all tick methods, Spark may attribute high percentages of lag to Neruina, when, in fact, these entities and block entities are part of the vanilla game. Be sure to check the high % section in reporting to identify the true causes of lag.
