Overflowing Bars is a comprehensive mod for Minecraft that eliminates the need for multiple health, armor, and toughness overlay extensions. With this mod, players can access neatly designed and compact health, armor, and armor toughness bars all in one convenient package.
Key features of the Overflowing Bars mod:
- Utilizes only two color schemes: the standard vanilla color and orange/light blue for visual clarity.
- Stacks hearts on top of each other when exceeding 10 hearts, displaying the additional layers in orange.
- Stacks armor points over 20, with the additional layers shown in light blue, only displaying necessary icons.
- Introduces an armor toughness indicator above the food bar, functioning similarly to the armor bar and can be customized to the player’s preference.
- Resolves the issue of incoming chat messages obstructing the armor bar.
- Fully customizable settings allow for adjustments to stacking behavior, number displays, and more.
Additional components required for optimal functionality:
- Installation of AttributeFix by DarkhaxDev to support armor and toughness values exceeding 20.
- The mod necessitates the installation of Puzzles Lib for Forge & Fabric, Fabric API, and Forge Config API Port for Fabric.
Configuring the mod is simple and can be done in-game using the mod menu (Mod Menu by Prospector needed for Fabric) or through manual configuration within the .minecraft/config directory. The server configuration files for older versions can be found at .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/serverconfigs, requiring separate configurations for each world.
