Polymorph is a mod designed to address recipe conflicts in the game by enabling players to choose from all potential outputs associated with the same ingredients. In situations where multiple mods are installed, conflicts in recipes can arise frequently, usually leaving users or modpack developers to resolve them using datapacks or other means to ensure that every recipe remains distinct.

Offering an innovative solution, Polymorph allows for the coexistence of all feasible crafting and smelting recipes regardless of conflicts, providing a seamless gameplay experience.

Key Features:

  • Crafting: When a set of ingredients matches multiple recipes, a button will appear above the output slot. Clicking this button will display a list of potential results for selection, enabling players to choose a preferred output. Polymorph retains the last selection unless ingredient changes occur, allowing for repeated crafting actions.
  • Smelting: In cases where a valid input corresponds to multiple outputs, a button will be shown above the output slot. By clicking this button, players can view a list of possible results, with the current selection highlighted in green. Players can then choose a desired output, with the selection saved within the block itself for persistence across world loading and unloading.
  • Commands: To aid in identifying conflicts, the command /polymorph conflicts can be used to detect conflicting recipes, providing a detailed list in the logs folder.
