Project Intelligence, also known as “PI,” is a revolutionary Minecraft mod designed to create a universal documentation system by harnessing the collaborative power of the Minecraft community.
Mod developers can easily contribute documentation for their mods to PI, empowering users with comprehensive information. Unlike traditional documentation mods, PI allows community members to take an active role in writing and editing documentation for various mods using its built-in editor. By submitting documentation through pull requests, contributors can expand the online repository and improve accessibility for all players.
Transparency and openness are key tenets of PI, with all documentation stored in raw form on GitHub. A Jenkins server compiles the documentation, which is then hosted on a web server controlled by covers1624. Everything, including images used in documentation, originates from this server to ensure a cohesive and immersive experience without relying on external sources.
Exciting features of PI include a highly customizable user interface, seamless integration with JEI for recipe support, content linking capabilities, and language localization support. The built-in editor simplifies the process of creating and maintaining documentation, while support for multiple mod versions ensures compatibility with evolving mods.
Mod pack developers can also benefit from Pack Doc, a feature enabling the creation of local documentation stored within pack configurations. This feature allows for flexible hosting of images, giving mod pack developers greater control over their documentation.
