Resource Pack Overrides is a valuable tool for mod pack creators in Minecraft to effectively manage pre-installed resource packs. It ensures that essential resource packs remain enabled consistently, even during failed reloads, preventing any accidental interference with critical packs.
The mod offers the following key features:
- Define a default list and order of resource packs that persists across failed reloads.
- Override specific attributes for resource pack display, such as compatibility and visibility.

Installation of Resource Pack Overrides on the client side is required. It also necessitates the installation of Fabric API (Fabric).
Configuration of Resource Pack Overrides is done through a single config file located at .minecraft/config/resourcepackoverrides.json, which generates as blank if not present.
