Minecraft Mod: Snow Under Treesbl4ckscor3
This mod, Snow Under Trees, was created as part of the MMD WinterJam 2019 event. You can download the Fabric version of the mod here.
Functionality:
Snow Under Trees mod adds snow under trees in Minecraft. This feature triggers during the generation of new chunks or when it is snowing in the game. It specifically affects biomes where it is cold enough to snow. Regular forests remain unaffected while modded biomes are supported. It is compatible with Snow! Real Magic!, Serene Seasons, and Dynamic Trees.

See the contrast in a vanilla Snowy Taiga biome before and after the installation of this mod.
Config:
- enable_biome_feature – Disabling this setting will prevent snow from generating beneath trees when new chunks are created.
- enable_when_snowing – Disabling this setting will prevent snow from appearing under trees during in-game snowfall.
- filtered_biomes – Biomes listed here by their biome IDs will not be impacted by the mod. Biome IDs can be found on the F3 screen in-game (e.g., minecraft:plains).
