Minecraft Mod Tinkers’ ComplementKnightMiner
Tinkers’ Complement is a Minecraft mod designed to enhance Tinkers Construct in a modular way, offering mod compatibility and features to enrich gameplay in modpacks.
This mod is currently available for version 1.12.2 with plans for future updates to either 1.18.2 or later versions. Development of updates is temporarily paused as the lead developer is prioritizing features in the main Tinkers’ Construct mod.
Specific features that will be ported include:
- Bucket cast for specialized casting
- Melter for ore processing
- Alloy Tank for alloy creation
- Porcelain Casting for decorative alternatives
- High Oven for advanced smelting
The melter functions similar to the smeltery but does not double ores and only holds one liquid at a time. It can be fueled by lava or a heater block for early game progression. The bucket cast can gate bucket crafting behind the smeltery.
The alloy tank provides automation for alloy creation and can be disabled using redstone. It requires fuel from a heater or seared tank below and fluid sources on the sides.
Porcelain Casting, when used with Ceramics, offers decorative alternatives to seared blocks for modpacks to gate access to melting.
The high oven is a multiblock structure for advanced steel production, with features for creating steel, knightslime, and pig iron. Additionally, it can transform water into a superheated fluid for melting metals.
Tinkers Complement also introduces additional armors and tools for gameplay enhancement, including:
- Manyullyn armor for Nether-based defense
- KnightSlime armor for bouncing effects
- Steel armor for durability and protection
- Various tools for compatibility with mods like Chisel and Ex Nihilo
