FAQ

Isn’t Vivecraft for Forge?

Vivecraft was traditionally designed for Forge, but has been restructured to also accommodate Fabric and Quilt platforms.

Can other players see my hands/What about NONVR, VSE and VFE?

This mod includes a NONVR feature within the jar file. Virtual reality is initially disabled and can be activated within the main menu. To enable other players to view your hands, you will require this mod along with a serverside extension. Both VSE and VFE work seamlessly with Fabric, though they are optional. The mod functions in NONVR mode on the server, allowing visibility of other players’ hands. Customizability has been enhanced since version 1.0.0, akin to standalone server mods.

Does it work with MCXR?

No, MCXR is a separate mod and does not integrate with Vivecraft.

Does it run natively on the Quest?

Currently, Vivecraft does not run natively on the Quest, but there is potential for future enhancements. In the interim, Questcraft offers compatibility for the Oculus/Meta Quest through a modified version of Vivecraft.

What about Sodium/Iris … Will it work?

Sodium and Iris are confirmed to work with the mod, while compatibility with other mods remains untested. Prioritizing stability first, future updates will focus on maximizing compatibility.

What about Optifine?

As of version 1.0.0, Vivecraft is compatible with Optifine although it is not mandatory for operation.

What about 1.19.0?

A version compatible with 1.19.0 is available, however, it will not receive further updates.
